Welcome to my blog. I recently took a break from everyday life to travel the USA and reconnect with family and friends, explore and photograph new places, and catch up on a few personal curiosities. I traveled over 35K miles across more than twenty states, visiting nearly all of the National Parks west of the Mississippi. This blog is dedicated to sharing some of the images and experiences from those journeys. I will occasionally post on other topics too.
I’ve also traveled the world– a dozen or so times around the globe in the last few years according to my airline miles account. I’ve been as far south as Patagonia to complete the W Trek and as far north as the Alaska Range to explore Denali National Park.

Work
I’ve spent the majority of my career working at the intersection of digital marketing and data. I’ve worked with a number of industry leaders to help build and bring new marketing and advertising technologies to market. I have a strong grounding in data science, having completed an M.S. in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University. I’m currently working on marketing projects for emerging growth tech companies via my consulting company STELR. Some of the companies I’ve worked with in the past include:

Children’s Books
I’ve authored a series of six children’s books encompassing themes of patience, kindness, and empathy. The Nuggies book series brings these themes to life through the eyes of our favorite furry friends–dogs!

Education
In terms of formal academic study, I have completed my M.S. in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University and undergrad in Business at Cal State University, Sacramento.
